ROC the Day / Giving Tuesday November 29, 2022

Join us to make a difference, as our friends and neighbors come together for 24 hours of unprecedented community giving. ROC the Day with Mary Cariola Center on Giving Tuesday, November 29.

For over 40 years, the Adaptive Equipment Workshop Team has created, built, adapted, and repaired thousands of items that can be found in almost every Mary Cariola classroom. Students of all shapes and sizes with different abilities require equipment of all shapes, sizes, and materials. Our Adaptive Workshop fills those needs.

Your gift on ROC The Day will help our Workshop continue to build, adapt, and repair items like:

·         A platform for a toddler’s chair so a preschooler can safely sit and engage during circle time.

·         A touch release catapult so students can shoot basketballs in Adapted Physical Education class.

·         A special adaptation of an exercise ball mounted on a wheelbase with back support to improve student attention and stimulation in the classroom.
