Preschool is designed for three-to five-year-olds to attend either a half- or full-day program each day, depending on their needs. Students’ abilities and developmental delays can vary significantly. A range of class sizes and staff ratios is available to meet individual educational and social needs.
Children who are three to five years old are referred to Mary Cariola by their home school district.
The Preschool year ends on a high note with an official pomp and circumstance graduation ceremony. A major goal of the Cariola Preschool is to provide intensive (often one-on-one) attention to the children during these formative years to maximize the opportunity for academic and social growth and increase chances for success in a less restrictive environment.
